Parcel Select Delivery Time

USPS publishes no delivery-days standard for Parcel Select: its Service Standards Directory has no Parcel Select column. The old Parcel Select Ground service was retired on July 9, 2023, when USPS Ground Advantage replaced it.

What is USPS Parcel Select?

USPS Parcel Select is a ground service for business mailers.

The shipper carries the parcels to a USPS facility near the recipient, a destination delivery unit (DDU), a destination hub (DHub) or a destination sectional center facility (DSCF), and pays Commercial prices by weight and entry point, for parcels up to 70 lb.

USPS retired the related Parcel Select Ground service on July 9, 2023, when it launched USPS Ground Advantage.

It is a ground product for parcels up to 70 lb, and destination-entry pieces must be part of a mailing of at least 50. It is not the old Parcel Select Ground, which USPS retired on July 9, 2023.

How long does Parcel Select take to deliver?

USPS does not publish a delivery-days standard for Parcel Select, and its Service Standards Directory has no Parcel Select column, so no calculator can give an official number for it.

What's the difference between Parcel Select and Ground Advantage?

USPS Ground Advantage is sold to everyone, at the counter and online, for packages up to 70 lb, with tracking, up to $100 of insurance and a 2-5 day standard.
